Mike Mattheiss Art brings the distinctive work of Chattanooga artist and longtime friend of the scale modeling community, Mike Mattheiss, to ModelCon EagleQuest. Mike’s artwork has become especially familiar to modelers in the Chattanooga area. He created the official artwork for the 2019 IPMS/USA National Convention in Chattanooga, helping give that memorable event its visual identity. Mike is also the artist behind “Mikey,” the Chattanooga Scale Modelers mascot, a character that has become a recognizable part of the club and its events. His work combines illustration, personality, humor, and a genuine appreciation for the subjects and people that make the modeling hobby special.
