Contest Categories
-
The Entrant will determine the Class and Category of each Contest or Display Only entry.
-
The Chief and Head Judges reserve the right to move entries to another Class and/or Category if such a move is clearly warranted. All such moves will be made following a reasonable effort to notify the entrant.
-
Contest Classes and Categories can be found HERE.
Contest Judging
-
Contest judging will take place at the end of each contest day when the doors are closed to the public.
-
Contest models must remain in place on contest tables for the duration of the contest and should not be removed until the award ceremony is concluded. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in forfeiture of any award(s).
-
Display Only models may be withdrawn anytime at the discretion of the entrant.
-
Awards not redeemed/accepted by an entrant will remain in the sole possession of Chattanooga Scale Modelers and will not be mailed or delivered to the entrant.
-
Judging will follow the Open Judging methodology where each contest model will be judged on its own merit. Open Judging award levels are Gold-Silver-Bronze. See the additional awards available at model-con.com/contest.
